January 6, 2025 – Generation Safe – Biathlon Canada Safe Sport Athlete Session
Through the support of funding from the Canadian Olympic Committee, Biathlon Canada (BiCAN) has completed Safe Sport surveys at the Division, Club and Training Centre level. Part of the funding will also be used to provide nationwide education on Safe Sport for all levels of Canadian biathletes. These sessions will be provided by Allison Forsyth’s organization Generation Safe. We strongly encourage all biathlon athletes to participate in one of the English or French session:
Monday, January 13th 8pm ET English session with athletes (45 minute presentation, 15 minute Q&A)
Monday, January 20th 8pm ET French session with athletes (45 minute presentation, 15 minute Q&A)
BiCAN is thrilled to have Generation Safe provide cutting edge safe sport education to all biathlon athletes across the country in both official languages. Please make it a priority to participate.
