Dupuis, Canada strike silver at world championship

DSC_0758 A silver for Canada, with Russia in the top spot and Finland winning bronze. Alex started for Team Canada. He was in lane 10 - a tough draw at the inside of the field for the first turn. He avoided getting pinched in and was soon skiing in second place.

Also representing Canada at the Worlds were Ontario's Erin Yungblut (Junior Women) and Brett Davie (Junior Men). For details on all the races, see  full results on the IBU Datacenter.

Alex Dupuis welcomes Canada's anchor Jules Burnotte to the finish line as teammate Aidan Millar celebrates silver.

The relay triumph came just two days after Alex achieved the race of his life in the Individual event, coming in 5th place in the field of 63. This is his first time in Canadian national colours. -- Report and photos by Mark Yungblut
