    If you plan to attend a US event you need a FIREARMS IMPORT PERMIT. There is no cost for applying. Photocopy your PAL and BiON membership receipt, and fax them, together with the permit application and an invitation from Biathlon USA, to the US authorities at 304-616-4554, with a cover sheet.
